Introduction:
In spite of the slow democratic transformation in the Arabic countries however, some countries are still living a democratic crisis due to its complicated harsh history for a long time in light of challenges as well as deterioration in social, economic and cultural life which have left dominating policies away from democracy as a concept, practice or behavior. While the dictatorial heritage within the ruling political institution in the Arabic community, the influence of regional political frames on the political life in the Arab World and controlling over authority by dictatorial systems have resulted in different defects and impurities that affected the Arabic political, social and cultural life and negative consequences on the political culture and behavior in the Arabic countries.
And within severe conditions practiced by those systems, unorganized revolutionary reactions have appeared similar to the actions of the authority represented in expressions full of emotions and built on revenge, violence and physical killings against the oppression of the ruler.
Arabic Federation for Democracy represents an independent regional civil initiative which looks for building coalition between civil society organizations and activists in the Arab World, so as to enhance their contributions to the processes of democratic development, reform, political participation and building modern democratic communities based on freedom, justice, equality, law and good governance.
After all efforts during the previous decades, nations and governments of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) have failed in building a civil structure in which citizens coexist with their social, economic, religious and ethnic categories based on the values and concepts of human rights, democracy and sustainable development. Accordingly, the interest in establishing the Arabic Federation for Democracy is for mustering the support of Arabic countries and its peoples in order to accomplish their prospects which have been fragmented within the contradicted ideologies and conflicts.
