The objectives of Arabic Federation for Democracy:

The Federation Aims at:

1. Enhancing and strengthening democratic transformations in the Arab World.
2. Gathering institutions working in the field of democracy and creating channels for communication and exchanging experiences between them.
3. Promoting and stabilizing the bases of democratic control over the Arabic security institution.
4. Supervising and monitoring democratic processes including questionnaires as well as presidential, legislative and local elections.
5. Creating a lobbing entity to recognize rights and initiatives in addition to apply international conventions related to democracy.
6. Fostering citizens’ participation within democratic process in the Arab World.
7. Enhancing regulations and mechanisms of good governance.
8. Respecting human rights.

1. Generalizing international experiences linked with the process of democratic transformation.
2. Mobilizing and influencing public policies through putting pressure on decision-makers.
3. Preparing studies and researches.
4. Organizing media campaigns addressing the public opinion.
5. Networking, forming coalitions and improving the capacities of members.
